How does a KUUS GPS alarm with fall detection work?
For the wearer, it is simply a watch to see the time. It works independently and does not need to be paired with another device via bluetooth. (works with SIM card).
The family/caregiver easily links the senior alarm watch with fall detection to the English app with the instructional video. Through the app, you set everything up and have insight into your loved one’s GPS location.

With the KUUS. S3 personal alarm with fall detection, someone can stay independent and safe without an expensive subscription. The S3 is not a watch, it is a compact SOS button you can wear as a neck pendant or as a wrist alarm.
The S3 arrives ready to use. Insert a 2G nano SIM card without a PIN, connect the SOS button once to the KUUS. app, and it is ready.

The KUUS. S3 is a personal alarm for elderly with no subscription. It works with a standard SIM card and is SIM unlocked, so you can choose your own provider. For customers in Germany we include a German SIM card. For customers in the Netherlands we include a Lebara SIM card on the KPN network. The S3 uses 2G.
With one touch, the wearer can initiate an SOS call
Family can call the SOS button, recording is done through the SOS button
Only set numbers are allowed to call (so no unwanted calls)
In the app, you set up contacts, view GPS location and receive any emergency notifications.
Personal alarm with fall detection for elderly
The KUUS. S3 is a personal alarm with automatic fall detection.
Hold the SOS button for 3 seconds and the S3 will call the saved emergency numbers automatically, up to 3 numbers in a row.
If the first number does not answer, it will automatically call the second number, then the third.
If a fall is detected, fall detection starts the alarm automatically. You can set the sensitivity from level 1 to 8 in the KUUS. app.
GPS location and safety zone
Through the KUUS app, loved ones can:

establish a security zone, with notifications upon entry and exit
Note that indoor GPS is less accurate than outdoors. The SOS button uses GPS, Wi-Fi or LBS for the best available location.

What subscription or other charges do I have?
The watches work without a subscription! Many other alarm watches or alarm buttons work with a subscription and we want to break this. Our alarm watches work with every local SIM card When this runs out, you can upgrade the SIM card yourself. With €10 sim credit, you can go about 3 months, depending on your usage. Furthermore, the watch works with our own developed KUUS. Watch app. It is free to use. The estimated cost is the cost of data, i.e. GPS and voice messages. Below is an indication of the cost:
Internet costs (data) about €1 per month. (to see GPS location and send messages)
Calls from the watch charged by the minute (from €0.09).
Calls to the watch are free.
In the Lebara app, you have an overview of the cost of the watch. What you do not use of this credit, you can use the following month. Call credit with Lebara remains valid at all times, as long as you use the watch once every 90 days.
How does SOS button / panic button or fall detection work?
The user can press the SOS button himself in case of emergency (there is 1 button on the watch, this is the SOS button). The watch will then dial preset numbers. Does number 1 not pick up? Then number 2 and 3 are automatically called. The KUUS. S2 watch additionally has a fall detection function. If the GPS tracker watch detects an unexpected (fall) movement, it will automatically start calling preset phone numbers. The user can also cancel this if it is a false alarm. You can adjust the sensitivity of the alarm. NOTE: If your voicemail is on, the watch cannot forward calls to the next in the list. The watch then thinks it is “recorded” and cannot make a call through. So turn off your voicemail if you want to be called by the SOS watch!
What is the delivery time of the watch, when will it be shipped?
Our senior watches are delivered to your mailbox within 2 business days! Of course, it is well packaged in a sturdy mailbox box so that the product arrives without damage. So you don’t have to stay home for delivery. 📬 😇
Am I taking a long time to install? What is plug and play?
Our senior watches are pre-programmed. All you have to do is insert the SIM card and pair the watch with our app. The rest will go by itself. The installation will take about 5 minutes if you read the manual. The senior watches come with a paper manual in Dutch. Do you prefer to watch an instructional video? This is also included! 😇
How long does the battery or accumulator last?
The battery lasts 1 to 2 days, just like a smartphone. This depends on how intensively you use the watch. If you call or update the GPS location more often, the battery will drain faster. Maximize battery life by setting the GPS location update to 1 hour.
Should I disable voicemail for the 3 people receiving the SOS alarm notification ?
NOTE: If your voicemail is on, the watch cannot forward calls to the next in the list. The watch then thinks it is “recorded” and cannot make a call through. So turn off your voicemail if you want to be called by the SOS watch!
